Davina previously described the romantic cliff-top proposal that took place in Ibiza. She joked about being dressed in “completely impractical” pink steel-toe cowboy boots when Michael suggested they walk along the cliffs after lunch.
“He recited something beautiful,” she recalled, “and then he dropped to one knee.”
The moment was made even sweeter by the fact that Michael had spent the previous year teasing her with fake shoelace-tying kneels, turning it into a running joke between them.
A source told The Sun that the newlyweds’ ceremony was exactly what they envisioned.
“It was small, private, and filled only with people who truly matter to them,” the source explained. “After everything Davina has faced with her health, making their commitment official simply felt right. They didn’t want to wait any longer.”
The couple reportedly enjoyed a quiet, relaxed weekend after the ceremony, attending their friend’s wedding the next day—proudly introducing themselves as a married couple for the very first time, with Davina happily showing off her ring.

Just months earlier, Michael told The Mirror they felt content and in no hurry to rush into marriage. “We’re very happy as we are,” he said at the time. “There might be wedding bells eventually, but we’re not in a rush. We simply enjoy each other’s company.”

Davina has been married twice before—first to Andrew Leggett from 1997 to 1999, and later to Matthew Robertson, with whom she shares three children: Holly, Tilly, and Chester. Her marriage to Matthew ended in 2017.
