Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly cut off his family on social media, with new claims suggesting the move was triggered by an unexpected online interaction involving his mother, Victoria Beckham.
The 26-year-old is said to have blocked his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, on Instagram earlier today, marking another dramatic development in the long-running Beckham family rift. Reports suggest the decision came after Victoria liked a video Brooklyn shared of himself cooking a roast chicken.

Brooklyn’s younger brother Cruz later confirmed the drastic step, explaining that Brooklyn had blocked the entire family on the platform. Initial speculation claimed David and Victoria had unfollowed Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, in response. However, Cruz swiftly denied those rumours.
“NOT TRUE,” Cruz wrote on Instagram. “My mum and dad would never unfollow their son. Let’s get the facts straight. They woke up blocked — as did I.”
According to reports, the fallout stemmed from a cooking clip in which Brooklyn demonstrated how he prepares roast chicken, describing his beer-brining process and finishing the dish with rosemary butter. The video was posted to promote a clothing brand.

When fans noticed Victoria had liked the post, many interpreted it as a sign of reconciliation and urged Brooklyn to mend ties with his family. “Victoria liked this — family is everything,” one supporter commented, while others encouraged him to cook with his father or reach out to his parents before it was too late.
Despite the positive fan reaction, The Sun claims Brooklyn was irritated by his mother’s public show of support and responded by blocking not only Victoria, but also David, brothers Romeo and Cruz, and his younger sister Harper.
The Mirror has contacted Brooklyn Beckham’s representatives for comment. With the family now blocked, they will no longer be able to view any of his future posts.
Sources suggest Brooklyn is unlikely to spend Christmas at the Beckham family’s £10 million Cotswolds home, despite attempts to repair relations. Instead, he and Nicola are expected to celebrate the holidays with her family in Miami.
One insider described the move as a clear statement of finality, saying it signals Brooklyn’s complete estrangement from his family.
Tensions between the Beckhams reportedly escalated earlier this year when Brooklyn and Nicola skipped David Beckham’s lavish 50th birthday celebrations in May. Brooklyn also failed to publicly acknowledge his father’s milestone birthday on social media, further fuelling speculation of a deepening family divide.
